LinkedIn Ventures into Gaming: A Fresh Approach to User Engagement

linkedin

LinkedIn, the platform we all know for professional networking and career growth, is venturing into a new domain - gaming! You heard it right: LinkedIn is testing its unique games: Queens, Inference, Crossclimb, and Blueprint. This innovative step is a part of their strategy to enhance user engagement on the platform.

LinkedIn aims to introduce these puzzle-based games as a fun way to stimulate conversations among its users, enabling them to form deeper relationships. Imagine discussing a tricky level of 'Inference' with a potential employer or bonding over the strategic moves in 'Queens' with a future business partner. It's networking made fun!

What's even more intriguing is the possibility of player scores being organized by workplaces. Companies may get 'ranked' based on these scores, adding a competitive edge to the gaming experience.

Nima Owji, a prominent figure in the LinkedIn community, provided this insightful update. I'm not sure how I feel about this crossover of the NYT Gaming world with my LinkedIn world, and I question if working professionals have time for playing games on LinkedIn, but I thought you would like to know what’s new in the world of LinkedIn. What are your thoughts?
